EPE Student secures 3^rd position in Oral Presentation conducted by American Society of Mechanical Engineers 👏

                                     

EPE student Siddharth Bandooni of B.Tech Power System Engineering took part in Student Led Design Conference (SLDC) organized by American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) & secured 3rd position in Oral Presentation Competition on the topic "How Nuclear Power Plants are the future for generating electricity.”

The presentation focused on how to move forward to change fuel from Uranium to Thorium owing to its various advantages- more safe and productive fuel. The concern for dependency on sunny days and windy nights for electricity generation by solar & wind energy was highlighted .
